The Spa is having a limited massage special with a myrrh and frankincense massage.
The annual Gingerbread town will be the centerpiece of the lobby once again...always a treat.

Specialty cocktails are offered in the hotel bar with a little holiday flair.

Trio is featuring 3 for $39 specials...Chef Elmar is so creative in the kitchen. The food is always delicious.

March of Dimes Pictures- Check them out

Here is Victoria with our Favorite music main Matt Wilson

This Year we added lounge furniture instead of tables to make the room
seem more like Studio 54.

The tables had silver seating with black linen and accented with red.

We even found a Hot dog man to be a food vendor as well...he was a HUGE hit at the party!

Here are some chefs awaiting the arrival of guests with their beautifully plated foods.

Philip Solomon, the MC for the night, brought along a stilt walking Statue of Liberty that greeted the guests.

This is in the ballroom foyer. Chefs are busy preparing.

Shonda Townsley and her team made this AMAZING, huge red apple that was the centerpiece in the silent auction room. Anyone need this for their next party??
David Kurio's apple arrangement greeted guests and certainly got the apple theme across.
Thank you Jerry Hayes for these wonderful pictures

We Spread the News...

March of Dimes 2009 took place last night, Sunday, November 1 at the Four Seasons. The theme was New York, New York and guest came out in their Fifth Avenue best.

Graff jewelry displayed gorgeous diamonds that, indeed are, a girl's best friend.

Townsley Designs outfitted the San Jacinto ballroom with the most fabulous, gigantic red apple in the middle of the room. Then, they transformed the grand ballroom.

David Kurio brought back the flashing blinking red lights to accompany his red apple and red roses displays through out the ballrooms. Again, he outdid himself.

Philip Solomon, out of LA, with Way 2 Much Etnertainment, flew in from Washington DC after helping the Obama's out with their Halloween at the White house, to help us out with a stilt walking Statue of Liberty that greeted guests and to be the main auctioneer of the night. Alongside Philip in the auciton, was his sidkick and after party entertainment, Matt Wilson. He has guests tearing up the dance floor at the after party, especially Sarah and I.

Howard with First in Last out busted out the most amazing light and video show for Studio 54. Once again, we were reminded how much lighting can make or break a party.

Thank you to the March of Dimes and all our vendors. New York, NY was fabulous and pictures are soon to come!!!

Ghioc-Brickley Wedding

THE PICTURES ARE HERE, THE PICTURES ARE HERE!! Sarah and I have been impatiently waiting to see the pictures from Monica Ghioc and Dan Brickley's Colorado wedding that Victoria helped with over Labor Day weekend. They do not dissapoint. Real Photography out of Colorado did a fabulous job capturing the love between the happy couple on their wedding day with the amazing nature surrounding them.

The happy couple was married on Saturday of Labor day weekend, September 5, 2009. The ceremony took place at the Beaver Creek chapel. It was a perfect setting for such a unique and personal service. Monica specifically wanted to incorporate Romanian traditions from her side of the family as you can see with the wedding crowns.

Guest then traveled over to the Osprey hotel for happy hour on the deck and a delicious sit down dinner. Brett Cline played the piano while everyone dined...That name sounds familiar you say?? That's because he plays regularly at the Four Seasons Bar here in Austin, Texas. He is fantastic and can play any song you ask him to.

Then, the reception got "bumpin". DJ Jazzy Jeff got people on their feet and on the dance floor. Friends and family got down with their bad selves and let loose. A FABULOUS time was had by all. Monica and Dan had smiles on their faces all night long and could not stop kissing eachother!!

MONICA AND DAN FOREVER!!!

We do a lot of Destination weddings and events and we can now add Beaver Creek, Colorado to the list...and we have to admit, it's close to the top of the list!!

Tribeza Style Week- Wet and WILD

The Tribeza Fashion show on September 22, 2009 was full of surprises. Despite the rain, Austinites came out and celebrated fashion on the City Terrace of the Long Center. A gorgeous crystal tent was erected over the runway and Austin's elite was sitting in the front rows of the show. Camera crews were even there filming a pilote of "The Real Housewives of the Lone Star State" they are trying to sell to the Bravo Network.

Boutiques such as By George, Adelante, Estilo and Keepers showed off their newest fall trends. Neons, animal prints, knee high boots, studding, and boyfriend gear were all the rage.

Michael Holdaway flew in from Los Angeles to coordinate the show and did an AMAZING job. He composed all the music, organized all the models and coordinated the look of the runway without ever losing his outgoing and bubbly personality. We love him and hope to work with him again in the future.

Overall, the event was a total hit. Dale Dewey and Karen Landa were so great to work with and had so many ideas to work off of. They wanted a fashion show that woudl blow Austin away and thats exactly what they did. It'll be hard to top this year's event, but I know they can do it.

The VIP tents were abuzz with gossip and chit chat. Matt Wilson and his band got guests dancing from tent to tent and singing along to all his tunes. Thanks so much to all the sponsors for those tents- Hester Capital Management, Mercedes, Kathryn Bechtol Scarborough, BYD Yoga, Gables, Tribeza, Estilo, Lounge 22, Long Center 2nd Year Anniversary, David Yurman and Missbehave/Beyond Tradition. Every tent had their own theme and everyone outdid themselves.

Can't wait till next year!!

Wedding Success in July

Two fantatsic weddings this July!! The weekend of July 11, we transformed the Four Seasons ballrooms into the bride and grooms fantasy.
The San Jacinto ballroom became a Chilean wine bar (the groom's family is from Chile). Townsley Designs built THE MOST GORGEOUS bar for this occassion. Outfitted with a photobooth, scrapbook table, candy bar and community tables, this room was was a hit with the young crowd.
The main ballroom was turned into a floral wonderland. David Kurio Floral designs came up with the most amazing flowers we have ever seen. Orchids were everywhere and the doorframes were covered in hydrangea, lillies and roses.
All our hard work paid off and the party went off without a hitch. New York city Swing got people "dancing on the tables" as Victoria would say and the late night with DJ Manny got rowdy...in a good way of course.
We love the Four Seasons...we hope they love us as much as we love them.

Then, on July 18, we had a more intimate, lovely wedding at that took place at Saint Mary Cathedral with the reception at the Stephen F. Austin. David Kaso, the catering manager there, is so wonderful to work with. The couple was so in love and you could see how happy everyone was for them. Pictures to follow...
