Marquee is back...and better than ever!

On January 20, Marquee Event Group held an open house for their 25th Anniversary at their new warehouse facility off of Howard Lane in North Austin. Event Coordinators, party vendors and old and new clients were all invited to take a tour of the new space as well as have a good time filled with music, food and good friends.

Laura Scarborough and her friend used their LED hula hoops to welcome in the guests after Central Texas Valet parked their cars.

This gorgeous tent was set up in the warehouse for an event later that day, but it definately caught everyones eye and showcased some of Marquee's new tent structures.

David Kurio donated these appropriatly pink flowers to the entrace desk of Marquee.

String lights, colorful linens and newly painted folding chairs were the main decor for the party area in teh warehouse...how fun is this!!

Big Top Hot Dogs was a hit as usual. He always does such a great job for us and everytime we see him he has added something fabulous to his cart. This time it was the Hot Dog structure up top. Gotta loce the disco ball!

34th Street created a fabulous iced tea bar for us as well as the always delicious hack chicken salads that were served in cute Chinese take out boxes. I think every guest had two servings...I know Sarah and I did.

Sugarstar Cupcakes was our dessert for the day with a special Marquee cupcake that was either pink or green.

Up in the rafters was the VIP area decked out with Marquee pink lighting and their new lounge furniture...doesn't that couch look comfy!

We LOVE these new tables ad chairs. Sarah and I had to try out the round chairs to make sure they were cozy and believe me, you wouldn't want to move from this spot.
Other special thanks go out to- The Matt Wilson Band, Ropollo's Pizza, David Alan aka the Tipsy Texan, Teo's Gelato and coffee and of course MARQUEE RENTALS AND EVENTS. Thank you all so much!

Tribeza Wedding Day

If you weren't at yesterday's Tribeza Wedding Day event, YOU MISSED OUT!! Fabulous wedding vendors from all over Austin gathered at the historical Driskill hotel. Creataive Consultants was one of the headlining vendors and we met so many fabulous brides! Working along side us were Duncan and Boyd Jewelers, Coby Neal from the Flower Studio, The Driskill hotel, the Blanton Museum, Say Cheese Photobooth, Petal Pushers and the Cupcake Bar. Victoria even spoke at the first seminar about Wedding receptions and working within your wedding budget. (She did a fantastic Job!!) Dresses from Melange bridal were displayed on real models walking around the event and our own Sarah Hinman wore her wedding dress from Alexa Gavela just for fun. Lisa Brooks did an amazing job with all the models' hair- we love her and recommend her to every bride! Take a look at the photos from the event! Thanks again Tribeza. Petal Pushers made these gorgeous orchid centerpieces for the entrance to the main ballroom. Our favorite part was the white sequin linen...so fun and pretty!
Our table hosted a candy bar that was a huge hit among the vendors...with no lunch, tons of candy was consumed.

If you can't tell by now we loooove butterflies and Coby Neal designed this centerpiece which we LOVED!

This was in the center of the room above the fireplace...you can never go wrong with candles.

We love Coby's creativity!
